History
China Telecom Corporation Limited is a large-scale and leading integrated intelligent information services operator. It provides fundamental telecommunications services, including comprehensive wireline communications, mobile communications, and value-added telecommunications solutions such as Internet access, information services and other related services. By 2021, the Company had about 372 million mobile subscribers, 170 million wireline broadband subscribers, and 107 million access lines in service.
In 2012, China Telecom Global was founded in Hong Kong, China, to further enhance global service quality and accelerate worldwide business expansion. As a global headquarters, it oversees the regional business entities of CT Americas, CT Europe, CT MENA and China Telecom (Asia Pacific).

2001

2006
China Telecom (Europe) Limited is established, with its headquarters in London, UK. Dedicated to providing innovative telecommunications solutions that create customer value and facilitate business transformation.
China Telecom (Singapore) is set up, leveraging its strategic location to drive explosive growth in Southeast Asia.
2009
China Telecom (Japan), China Telecom (Vietnam), and China Telecom (Indonesia) are founded to provide greater levels of regional support and ensure the scalability, sustainability and security of digital infrastructure.




2010
China Telecom (Thailand) is set up, providing comprehensive solutions for companies on their business transformation journeys.
2011
China Telecom (Malaysia) and China Telecom (Korea) are founded, empowering businesses to achieve greater operational efficiencies and create sustainable competitive advantages.

China Telecom Global Limited (CTG) is established to further enhance global service quality and accelerate worldwide business expansion for international customers

2018

2019
China Telecom (Singapore) is rebranded as China Telecom (Asia Pacific). Committed to harnessing advanced technology and maximising business value via the strategic gateway of Singapore. By connecting 15 subsidiary offices across the region, it stands ready to accelerate the digital revolution and harvest the benefits of APAC digitalisation.
